Dolly Parton Said She Wants Another PlayBoy Cover – for Her 75th Birthday

Country Music superstar Dolly PArton, now 74, said she wants to be on the cover of PlayBoy magazine again, when she turns 75. Dolly appeared on the popular men’s magazine cover in 1978, when she was 32.

That 1978 Playboy magazine cover featured Dolly’s cleavage in a classic Playboy bunny costume. She was the first country music star to appear on Playboy’s cover at the time.

Dolly Parton told 60 Minutes Australia that she didn’t plan to retire, and added “I just turned 74 and I plan to be on the cover of Playboy magazine again. See, I did Playboy magazine years ago and I thought it’d be such a hoot if they’ll go for it — I don’t know if they will — if I could be on the cover again when I’m 75.”

“Boobs are still the same!” Parton said. “The good part with me though, I have my own look. I look kind of cartoonish and cartoons don’t really age that much.”

A&E network will feature a two-hour documentary on Sunday, April 12 at 8pm ET titled, “Biography: Dolly”, which traces Dolly Parton’s journey from her impoverished childhood to her early days in Nashville, and her multiple hit songs and recent 50th anniversary celebration at The Grand Ole Opry.
